Tooth decay

The food combining diet can dramatically reduce tooth decay. By using whole grains in starch meals and avoiding free sugars in drinks, sweets, cakes, biscuits and spreads, all major sources of decay are removed from the diet.

Development of a thick tooth enamel depends on the tooth biting firmly on hard food, such as chewy whole grain and raw vegetables.

Tips for clean teeth:

  • Clean between all teeth with floss once each day, use a gentle up and down movement rather than a sawing motion.

  • Pay as much attention to the back of the teeth as to the front when brushing after the last meal each day.
