Discussion and Support

All manufactured foods

The Coeliac Society produces a food list each year of manufactured foods that do not contain gluten.

You cannot always tell by looking at the contents label on the food packet.

Wheat flour may be used to help the food pass through machinery, to stop food sticking to baking trays or as a bulking agent to help distribute spices within a mixture.

This wheat flour is not declared on the contents label.

Food lists produced by supermarkets, chemists shops and health food stores often contain errors.

You are strongly advised to purchase a copy of the food list from the Coeliac Society and to keep it up to date.

Please help me with gluten free and celiacs. Anything that you can send me would be wonderful. I just started dating someone with this condition and would love to be able to comfortably cook for him.

Thanks

Tera
