Breakfasts - Muesli
This muesli is an excellent source of dietary fibre.
Ingredients: to make four breakfast portions.
Mix 2 oz or 50 g of each ingredient and keep the mixture in a sealed container in a cool dry place for up to a week.
Equal quantities of:
sunflower seeds
chopped dates
chopped figs
sultanas
banana chips
chopped mixed nuts
pine nuts
cooked flake rice
honey
Mix well.
Serve with milk or pour on a fruit juice.
Variations:
Add equal quantities of any of the following:
cooked flake millet
shredded coconut
