8.5 miles walk from Ivybridge, but you could easily shorten it by cutting outt he sections round Cornwood.
We did this walk in November with plenty of water in the river Erme.
There is limited parking where the walk starts, right beneath the viaduct of the mainline railway.
The path follows the river up through a wooded valley. Initially a good path, but further up, over a style, the path is boggy, slippery and narrow.
