Lanzarote Maguez cliff walk
Do switch to satellite view and zoom in. The detail is truly amazing.
I parked on the village street where it widened - shown where the walk track ends.
The walk starts up a small but surfaced side road.
After passing a large concreted water catchment area I cut a corner , going first to look at the quarry where they dig out the black grit. Do keep well back from the edge. The route on till the top is fairly obvious.
I then followed paths that were fairly close to the cliff. A low saddle joins too sections of cliff path with a small sheltered walls right on the edge here.
The path beyond is faint and continues level until you are back on the cliff, and then follows the cliff edge down to a small set of farm buildings.
The remainder of the walk is on vehicle tracks, mostly unsurfaced.
