Walking and Skiing at Le Bettex in France.
This is the Evasion ski area, and I was most impressed by it. Three separate fast gondolas serve the main mountain, to St Gervais, la Princess and Megeve, with a link to another gondola system serving the adjoining mountain of Rochebrune.
There were more than enough runs for the intermediate skiier for a week, with plenty of variety, all very scenic, extremely well groomed, and in the first weeks of January, very quiet.
