For this walk get the express bus to La Laguna - change buses in the bus
station in the middle of the old town. Get the bus to Punta del Hidalgo,
and go right to the view point where the bus turns round at the end. Both
buses run every half hour through the day. Map
The path starts along a track below the viewpoint and is well waymarked from
the end of the track. It is narrow, steep in places, but is always clear.
We got the bus back from Las Carboneras. There is a cafe that serves snacks
and drinks at the edge of the village, and the bus goes from the bus stop
in the village centre. Buses are not frequent so check your times before
setting out. This takes you back to La Laguna, change to the express back
to Puerto de la Cruz.
