Author: Don Balkwill () Email: Date: 2007/May/28 I hope you don’t mind me contacting you but I see from your website that you have had associations with Shaugh Bridge/Prior. I thought you might be interested in the website that I’ve created which has lots of photos of the area together with some video snippets. I particularly like the short video of an old steam train passing through Shaugh Bridge station before it closed in 1962. I’m hoping that people will send me any old photographs of the Shaugh area that they may have so that I can add them to the collection on the site. So please pass these details on to anybody else you might know who has associations with the area. I’m no expert in website creation so any comments or suggestions you may have for improving the site would be appreciated. I would also like any general comments you have regarding the site. Perhaps sometime in the future I shall create a book with all the photographs in it for the benefit of those who do not have internet access. Anyway we shall see.
