The undercliff path is beautiful, and in places spectacular. It twists and turns through the broken ground of a huge landslip. In places the earth is still moving, so it is best to stick to the path. It can be quite slippery in wet weather.
This can be done as a linear walk using the Jurrasic Coast bus from Lyme Regis to the sea front at Seaton. It is best to time your walk to catch the bus first, then you can take your time without a deadline.
Looking down onto the Cob at Lyme Regis from the start /end of the walk.
There are occasional viewpoints of the shore, but access to the shore is difficult.
Approaching Seaton through the golf course. Looking west to the coastline beyond.
Looking east from Lyme Regis at the Dorset coastline
