A regular bus service runs along the coast road from Shaldon Bridge to Torquay, so a linear walk is straightforward. There are green lanes to create a loop back inland. Free car park at Labrador bay. Pay and display at Shaldon.
Teignmouth harbour in the sunshine. There is a passenger ferry across the mouth of the harbour in the summer.

A steady climb up from Shaldon, with good views of the Ness, Teignmouth Pier and Dawlish in the distance.

The main path follows the edge of the cliff, with a lot of steep ascents and descents. Another path contours across the fields further back from the cliff and makes an easier walk.

It is worth walking right round the coast to the harbour at Torbay.

This walk is tough but enjoyable. it took us 6 and a half hours to get from Torquay to Tiegnmouth
