Another excellent walk along the coast to Cala Diea from Bens d'Avall. Back along the GR 221.
We started near Tramuntana Lodge, and followed the carretera de Bens d'Avall all the way down to Bens d'Avall. The onward path leaves the road just before the village, down into a little gully to the south and then turn right, down the valley on the cami d'Alconasser. A missleading sign right at the start, but after that a reasonably well waymarked path along the coast.
At Cala Deia after looking at the port and beach, head south up the valley on the carretera de la Cala. We took a path up the hill into Deia and past the church. Then followed Carrerer de l'Arxiduc Lluis Salvador until we met the GR221, which we followed back to Tramuntana Lodge.
We could have followed more of the GR221 from Deia via pla des Llosar but it would have needed a lot of extra descent and ascent
10 miles 14 km in bright sunshine.
