A 9.5 mile walk from Manaton with the Newton Abbot Ramblers, down to the River Bovey, then up past the hut circles to Sharpitor and along the ridge to Hunter Tor and its hill fort. Then we headed to North Bovey for lunch on the green, back down to the Bovey and the mill at Olde Yarde, before heading up the lane until we could turn left for Easdon Down. From there we went down past Barracott and followed lane and paths back to Manaton Church.
